Calling on U.S. Government Leaders
to Stop Arming Israel
June 2025

We are citizens of the world calling on the Trump administration and the U.S. Congress to recognize the need for restrictions on U.S. sales and transfers of arms to Israel.

There is ample documentation that Israel has violated U.S. laws and international humanitarian law repeatedly during its war in Gaza and in the escalating violence against Palestinians in the West Bank.

Emboldened by the lack of consequences for incessant violations of U.S. and international law, Israel is killing Palestinians indiscriminately in their places of worship, in hospitals, and in refugee camps. 

The United States has a pivotal role and enormous responsibility for enabling this destruction to continue and refusing to sanction Israel in any way.

Therefore, we call on U.S. leaders to seek to enforce U.S. laws and to ensure that Israel complies with international law by putting restrictions on offensive weapons provided to Israel now.

We also urge you to do everything in your power to:
seek an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza,
restore the United Nations ability to distribute humanitarian aid, and
ensure that ample aid is provided for the needs of desperate millions in Gaza.

Numerous polls have shown that the majority of U.S. citizens do not want their taxpayer dollars used to support this horrendous war, and they are in favor of restricting or ending U.S. arms supplies to Israel.

Show the world the United States has a responsible and humane government that defends universal human rights, upholds international law, and enforces U.S. laws. 

We implore you to to use the considerable influence and power of the United States to help the beleaguered and suffering people of Palestine with substantial actions: restrict U.S. arms to Israel, restore UN aid operations, and provide the necessary humanitarian aid.
